About
I created FlowShow in a group of 3 during my course CS147 - Introduction to Human-Computer Interaction. We were in the System Justice and Equity studio so we wanted to create a socially impactful product. We started need finding by interviewing people of many different ages in regards to their knowledge with women’s health. We saw a common sentiment about women finding themselves embarrassed and without resources when they start their periods. Once we heard this, we also sought the perspective of trans and non-binary people to learn about their unique challenges with periods. This led us to create FlowShow. We created a lo-fi prototype, med-fi prototype, and finally, a functional high fidelity prototype.
