Election Integrity Partnership
I proactively monitored social media sites for misinformation relevant to the 2020 Presidential election.
The Election Integrity Partnership was formed 100 days before the 2020 presidential election as a coalition of research entities. It aimed to identify and analyze online mis and disinformation, and to communicate important findings across stakeholders. I focused on misinformation in the Spanish language community. The findings can be seen on pages 102-106 of the official report, available here. Through this, I was able to stop the spread of #sharpiegate on TikTok.
